US
The Monmouth Heights (“MH”) Stingrays swim team began in
the 70's. The Freehold and Marlboro teams are combined to form the Monmouth Heights
Swim Team. Each team practices separately, but join together for swim meets
and the end-of-season banquet.
In order to join the swim team, the swimmer must
be a member of the MH swim club (AKA Monmouth Heights Levitt).
The only other requirement is that the swimmer be able to swim
one length of the pool without touching bottom to ensure the
safety of the swimmer. The swimmer’s age group is determined
with a cut-off of June 1st. The age groups are: 8 and Under;
9/10; 11/12; 13/14; 15-18. The last year of eligibility for
a swimmer is his/her summer after graduating high school. Once
a swimmer begins college, he/she is no longer eligible to swim
on the Stingrays team, though we love to have them visit.
We are a member of the Monmouth
County Swimming Conference. We are governed by a Constitution
which is voted upon each year by each swim club. The current
